Plans After ETH Global NYC: What's Next for EtherHub

August was a big month for us at EtherHub. We joined Pragma NYC, ETH Global, and even stopped by the Farcaster office for a side event. Beyond the excitement of handing out Hubi stickers, shirts, and even our own EtherHub coffee collab, we came back with something even more valuable: feedback and confirmation that we're solving the right problems in DeFi UX.

Now that we're back on schedule, here's what's next.

Watch Our NYC Recap

Key Takeaways from NYC

Community validation: DeFi and passive investing in crypto are massive opportunities, and users confirmed the UX challenges we're addressing matter.

Swag & coffee = conversations: Stickers, shirts, and coffee broke the ice, but feedback kept the discussions flowing.

Right direction: Hearing from builders and users gave us confidence that this problem is worth solving.

What's Next for EtherHub

Our goal remains the same: launch the app as soon as possible with a lean but useful feature set. But after NYC, one priority changed:

Liquidity Pool Moves Up

Originally, liquidity pool wasn't in our immediate roadmap. It's notoriously complex, hard to explain, and requires juggling multiple protocols. But the demand was clear:

  • Too much manual work today
  • No standardized approach across protocols
  • Users want simplicity a few clicks, not hours of setup

That's exactly where EtherHub can help.

Our Timeline

We're aiming for a November launch with liquidity pool integrated. First, we'll test it ourselves, if it works for us, we're confident it will work for thousands of users looking for a simpler DeFi experience.

Why liquidity pool Matters Now

The conversations in NYC made it clear that even experienced DeFi users are frustrated with the current liquidity pool experience:

Current Problems:

  • Protocol juggling: Managing positions across Uniswap, Aave, Compound, Curve
  • Gas optimization: Timing transactions and batching operations
  • Risk assessment: Understanding impermanent loss, smart contract risks
  • Yield tracking: Monitoring APYs across different platforms

EtherHub's Solution:

  • One-click strategies: Deploy capital across multiple protocols seamlessly
  • Automated rebalancing: Optimize yields without manual intervention
  • Risk transparency: Clear risk ratings and explanations
  • Unified dashboard: Track all positions in one place

What We're Building

Based on the feedback from NYC, here's what we're prioritizing:

Phase 1: Core Yield Strategies

  • Stable coin farming: USDC/USDT strategies for conservative users
  • ETH strategies: Staking + DeFi combos for ETH holders
  • Blue-chip pairs: Major token liquidity providing made simple

Phase 2: Advanced Features

  • Custom strategies: Let users build their own yield combos
  • Cross-chain farming: Optimize yields across Ethereum, Base, Arbitrum
  • Social features: Share strategies and follow top performers

Community-Driven Development

The NYC events reinforced something important: we're building this with the community, not just for them. The feedback was invaluable:

"I love DeFi but spending 3 hours setting up a yield farm is not sustainable" - DeFi trader at Pragma

"The UX gap between CEX and DeFi is still massive. You're solving the right problem." - Builder at ETH Global

"When can I use this? I need something like EtherHub yesterday." - Attendee at Farcaster event

This validation gives us confidence that we're not just building another DeFi app, we're solving real pain points that thousands of users face daily.

Closing Thoughts

We left New York energized, validated, and with clearer priorities. EtherHub is moving fast, and we can't wait to share more updates soon.

The path from idea to launch is never linear, but feedback like this confirms we're on the right track. liquidity pool integration wasn't originally planned for launch, but when the community speaks this clearly, we listen.

November can't come soon enough.
