EtherHub's 2025 Roadmap: What We've Achieved So Far

EtherHub's 2025 Roadmap: What We've Achieved So Far
2025 has been a milestone year for EtherHub. From building the foundation of our app to launching our first major feature: cross-chain swaps, we've made big strides toward our mission: making DeFi simple, safe, and accessible for everyone.
Here's a look back at what we've accomplished, month by month:

Our Journey Through 2025
February β UI/UX Foundation π¨
What We Built: Finished app and website screens
The year started with intensive design work. We knew that great DeFi UX was our differentiator, so we invested heavily in getting the foundation right. Every screen, every interaction, every flow was designed with simplicity in mind.
Key Achievements:
- Completed all major app screen designs
- Finalized the EtherHub brand identity with Hubi as our mascot
- Established design system for consistent user experience
- Created responsive designs for mobile-first DeFi
April β Website Goes Live π
What We Built: Started onboarding beta testers
With designs locked in, we launched our public presence. The website became our home base for community building and beta tester recruitment.
Key Achievements:
- EtherHub.com went live with full feature explanations
- Beta program launched with initial waitlist
- Community started forming around our vision
- First user feedback began flowing in
June β Smart Contract Integration β‘
What We Built: Moved from APIs to on-chain integrations
This was a major technical pivot. Instead of relying on centralized APIs, we committed to true decentralization with direct smart contract interactions.
Key Achievements:
- Built custom smart contract integrations
- Eliminated dependency on third-party APIs
- Improved security and decentralization
- Laid groundwork for advanced DeFi features
August β ETH NYC Events π½
What We Built: Community connections and feedback loops
ETH Global NYC wasn't just about networking, it was about validation. We met with hundreds of DeFi users and builders to test our assumptions.
Key Achievements:
- Attended Pragma NYC, ETH Global, and Farcaster events
- Collected invaluable user feedback on pain points
- Distributed Hubi stickers and EtherHub coffee
- Refined our roadmap based on community input
September β Cross-Chain Swaps Launch π
What We Built: First major feature goes live
The big moment. Cross-chain swaps represent everything we stand for: taking something complex (bridging assets between blockchains) and making it dead simple.
Key Achievements:
- β Cross-chain swaps live with Ethereum β Base support
- β One-click bridging eliminates multi-step complexity
- β Transparent fees with no hidden costs
- β Mobile-optimized for DeFi on the go
What Makes Our Cross-Chain Swaps Different
The DeFi space has plenty of bridges, but most suffer from the same problems:
Traditional Bridge Problems:
- Complex UI: Multiple steps, confusing flows
- Hidden fees: Gas costs, slippage, bridge fees add up
- Poor mobile UX: Designed for desktop power users
- Risk opacity: Users don't understand what could go wrong
EtherHub's Solution:
- One-click swaps: Select tokens, click swap, done
- Transparent pricing: See all fees upfront
- Mobile-first design: Works perfectly on any device
- Clear risk indicators: Understand exactly what's happening
The Numbers So Far
While we're still in beta, the early metrics show we're on the right track:
- 1,200+ beta testers signed up
- $50K+ volume in cross-chain swaps (beta)
- 4.8/5 average user experience rating
- 95% completion rate for first-time swaps
What's Next: The Road to November
Cross-chain swaps are just the beginning. Based on community feedback from NYC, here's what we're building next:
October Focus: Polish & Scale
- Performance optimizations for faster swaps
- Additional token support beyond ETH/USDC
- Advanced swap features (limit orders, scheduling)
November Launch: Liquidity Pools
- One-click liquidity providing
- Automated position management
- Yield optimization across protocols
- Risk-adjusted return calculations
Beyond November: Full DeFi Suite
- Staking made simple: ETH staking with one click
- Yield farming: Automated strategies across protocols
- Portfolio tracking: Unified view of all DeFi positions
- Social features: Follow successful DeFi strategies
Why This Matters
Every feature we build serves our core mission: making DeFi accessible to everyone.
Cross-chain swaps might seem like a small step, but they represent a fundamental shift in how DeFi should work. Instead of expecting users to become blockchain experts, we're building tools that work for normal people.
The result? Your grandma could use EtherHub to move her USDC from Ethereum to Base. And she wouldn't need to understand gas prices, slippage, or bridge contracts to do it safely.
Join the Journey
We've come a long way in 2025, but we're just getting started. Cross-chain swaps are live, liquidity pools are coming in November, and the full DeFi suite will follow.
Want to be part of the story? Join our Beta Program to experience EtherHub early and help shape the future of accessible DeFi.
The best DeFi UX is still being built. And we're building it together.
Ready to try cross-chain swaps? Experience the simplest way to move assets between Ethereum and Base, no technical knowledge required.
Follow our journey as we make DeFi simple, one feature at a time. π
